Metropolitan Anthony Bloom once said that 'freedom occurs within the relationship of true sonship,' a relationship to which he bore remarkable witness. Beyond the enlightened role played by Metropolitan Anthony in the Russian Orthodox Church of the 20th Century, beyond the influence he had as a preacher in the UK and around the world, among Christians and non-Christians, this exhibition seeks to tell the story of a man for whom a personal experience of Christ was the very heart of his life and teaching.
